Dr. James G. Hupp Dr. James G. Hupp received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. Upon graduating, he practiced general dentistry in the US Navy until 1993. In 1996, he completed his endodontic residency program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master of Science degree. He became a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2003. In 2009, he retired from the US Naval Reserves at the rank of Captain. He has remained active as an educator and in 2011, as Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center he was awarded Clinical Instructor of the Year and inducted into the prestigious Nelson Order. Currently, he is Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Patient Care and Director of Endodontics at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. His current research focus is Micro-CT evaluation of various instrumentation techniques.
